PRICE AND METHOD OF PAYMENT

The prices displayed on the Sezani Designs website are quoted in South African Rands, which is valid and effective only in relation to supply in South Africa. All prices displayed on the Sezani Designs website are inclusive of VAT.

Full payment of the price and delivery charges (where applicable) is required before products will be delivered. The product remains the property of Sezani Designs until payment is received in full.

EFT payments are accepted.

In the case of EFT payments, proof of payment must be forwarded to info@sezani.co.za or sales@sezani.co.za. Please allow 3 business days for the receipt of EFT funds to be confirmed. Goods will only be released for delivery once the receipt of funds has been confirmed.

When making an EFT payment, Sezani Designs advises customers to be vigilant and confirm all relevant and necessary information before making payment. Should the payment be intercepted by fraudulent third parties, Sezani Designs shall not be liable for any loss suffered by the customer. Please be advised that Sezani Designs will not proceed with the contract of sale if we cannot confirm receipt of funds as a result of fraudulent interception.

Please retain your invoice as proof of purchase. Regrettably, no returns or exchanges will be considered without the original invoice.

Please note : Delivery charges are non refundable

PRICE AND PAYMENT

1 The amount to be paid will be shown on the Site together with the charges you must pay including VAT and cash delivery fee, if applicable. Unless otherwise stipulated on the Site, all charges are in the currency then in force in South Africa.

2 You shall pay for the product by one of the following payment methods, subject to Sezani Designs’ discretion

2.1 Payment via EFT:

Sezani Designs accepts EFT as a payment option . Please use your order number as reference when making EFT payments to our bank. Please note, you will need to send proof of payment to info@sezani.co.za or sales@sezani.co.za and there is a certain waiting period for the funds to reflect in our account depending on which bank was used by you to make payment. Your order status will be updated once the funds reflect in our bank account. Please note, your order is only processed after the funds have cleared into our bank account

3 You cannot reserve products by placing them in your cart for payment at a later stage. Sezani Designs may remove products from your cart if the product is no longer available.

4 Your order remains valid as an offer until we issue our Confirmation of Order email.

5 Sezani Designs shall not be obliged to supply the product to you unless We have accepted your order (by issuing a Confirmation of Payment email). Unless expressly stating that We accept your order, an email, letter, fax or other Acknowledgement of your Order by us is purely for information purposes and does not constitute the confirmation of a contract of sale. In that Acknowledgement, we may give you an order reference number and details of the Product you have ordered. We may in our discretion refuse to accept an order from you for any reason, including unavailability of supplies.

6 Sezani Designs will, at all times do our utmost best to ensure that the price given to you is accurate, but the price of your order will need to be validated by Sezani Designs as part of our acceptance procedure. If the price for the order changes before we accept your order, We will contact you and ask you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the amended price.

7 Please be aware that risks exist when transacting online. Sezani Designs has taken all of the necessary precautions to minimise risk for you the customer, however there do exist fraudulent third parties who may intercept your payment please ensure that you remain vigilant and confirm all the necessary details. Sezani Designs will not be liable for any fraudulent interceptions. If the purchase price is not paid to us due to interception by fraudulent parties we unfortunately will not proceed with the contract of sale.

CANCELLATION OF YOUR ORDER
1 Sezani designs reserves the right to refuse processing of payment for any order and/or to cancel any purchase, partially or completely, with notice given to you.

2 Sezani Designs will be liable for reimbursing you the rand value paid only if you have already paid for the cancelled order.

3 After delivery of the product, you may cancel the sale only in accordance with our Returns policy which can be found in our Terms & Conditions here.

4 We reserve the right, for purposes of suspected fraud, to refuse to accept or process payment on any order, and/or to cancel any sale concluded between you and Sezani Designs, in whole or in part.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
Selected products are advertised on the Sezani Designs website (www.sezani.co.za .

The availability of any of the products can be confirmed by contacting us via the various methods on our website (call/ WhatsApp, email)

While every effort is made to ensure that the product you buy, including timber, fabric and leather products, corresponds as closely as possible to the sample shown on our website, slight differences may occur. We regret that no responsibility can be accepted for variations which add to the unique characteristics of Sezani Designs products.

SPECIAL ORDERS
You will be provided with a quotation for all custom orders and back orders (collectively “special orders”). It is your responsibility to verify the correctness of all information on the quotation before Sezani Designs places an order with its supplier or manufacturers.

For special orders, a deposit of 100% (to be finally determined by Sezani Designs depending on the circumstances) in advance is required. You may not cancel an order for special orders prior to delivery, unless Sezani Designs allows this in their discretion. In the case that the special order is cancelled, you will forfeit any deposit or amount already paid for the special order.

Lead time for special orders depends on the product, its availability and performance by Sezani Designs’ suppliers or manufacturers. The anticipated lead time will be stated on the sales order. Sezani Designs will inform you of any delays. It is acknowledged that products that are subject to special orders may differ from samples due to hand made processes and also the considerations set out in the PRODUCT INFORMATION section above and the Sezani Designs Care Instructions and it will be so accepted by the customer.

DELIVERIES AND COLLECTIONS

All risk in the Product shall pass to the customer upon delivery or collection.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
Sezani Designs offers free assembly of products bought from Sezani Designs when products are delivered by Sezani Designs’ delivery service.

Product assembly by customers is not recommended. Should you opt to assemble products, kindly refer to assembly instructions included with the product. Sezani Designs does not accept responsibility for items damaged due to incorrect assembly by a customer. Such items will not be considered for returns.

DELIVERY INFO

DELIVERIES
A FEE IS CHARGED FOR ALL DELIVERIES. The customer will be charged for the cost of delivery which will be reflected on the appropriate invoice in accordance with the prevailing Sezani Designs policy.

Estimated delivery times are as follows:

3 – 7 business days via courier partner delivery: On the Dot
4 – 7 business days for Johannesburg delivery via Sezani Designs own delivery network
2 – 3 weeks for any custom ordered item

Sezani Designs will contact the customer to arrange delivery on any weekday between 09h00 and 16h00. No deliveries will be made during weekends or on public holidays. Reasonable endeavours will be made to deliver the product on the arranged time and date.

Circumstances that are unforeseen or beyond Sezani Designs’ control may result in changes to the agreed delivery date and time of which the customer will be telephonically informed and alternative arrangements will be made.

Sezani Designs shall aim to let you know if we are unable to meet our estimated delivery date but, to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable to you for any losses, liabilities, costs, damages, charges or expenses arising out of late delivery.

All risk in the Product shall pass to you upon delivery, except that, where delivery is delayed due to a breach of your obligations, risk shall pass at the date when delivery would have occurred but for your breach. From the time when risk passes to you, we will not be liable for loss or destruction of the Product.

Please discuss any special delivery instructions with your consultant.

The customer must ensure that the place of delivery is accessible; that the product delivered can fit into lifts, staircases or through doors and that all the relevant areas have been cleared prior to delivery. This includes the removal of breakable objects. No products will be hoisted over balconies or through windows. Should hoisting be required, the customer will arrange this at his own cost. The customer accepts the risk of all damages that may result due to non-compliance by customer. The customer will be charged for additional delivery costs due to failed deliveries, access problems and/or failure to adhere to the appointment time for the delivery/collection.

Our delivery crews are instructed to not attempt delivery where damages may occur. Unfortunately, they cannot remove doors or windows, or reconnect electrical equipment.

The customer is required to inspect products on delivery. The customer or the person taking delivery on behalf of the customer will be required to sign a proof of delivery (POD). Unless indicated to the contrary on the POD, it is deemed that the product has been delivered and received in good condition and, where appropriate, in accordance with the customer’s specifications.

COLLECTIONS
Being a full Online store, we do not have any collection option- all purchased items are to be delivered and installed (if need be0 at the customer’s specified location)

STORAGE FACILITIES
Sezani Designs does not offer storage facilities. In the event of a purchase not being delivered within 10 days after the customer has been notified that it is available for delivery, a storage fee of R250 (two hundred and fifty rand) per day will be charged to the customer’s account. This storage fee must be settled in full prior to the delivery and release of the product.

RETURNS

RETURNS
In addition to a product being returnable in terms of the Returns Policy below, if the customer is not happy with their furniture purchase or has made an error with their furniture purchase and wishes to exchange or return their furniture purchase, the customer may do so within 48 hours of purchase. Goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging along with the original invoice. The customer may choose either a store credit or exchange, unfortunately no refunds are given.

Should the customer wish to return their product, the customer will be charged a 20% handling/restocking fee for the return of the furniture product in terms of this section (this fee may increase dependent on circumstances). If the product requires upliftment, a collection fee will in addition be charged. The customer will be given a store credit for the value of the furniture product less the handling fee.

If the customer has chosen an exchange, they may not choose a product that exceeds the purchase price of the original product less the handling fee, collection fee and use charge if applicable, unless the customer pays in the difference in the purchase price.

Before exchange is processed, the product will be assessed for wear and tear. Should there be evidence of use, we will impose a charge for use. This charge will be in line with the extent of use.

This section does not apply to custom or made to order products.

It is acknowledged that exchanges are subject to product availability at the time of the request for exchange.

Physically altered, partially disassembled or damaged product may not be returned or exchanged in terms of this section. Sezani Designs will check the condition of products presented for exchange or returned accordingly.

RETURNS POLICY
Sezani Designs will process your return request in the following circumstances:

If your purchase falls under the ECT Act, you may return an undamaged, non-defective product in the event that you change your mind about the product within 7 (seven) business days of delivery of products, which return shall incur a collection charge, equivalent to the initial delivery fee.
You may return a product if you have not had the opportunity to inspect the product and upon inspection the goods do not meet the type or quality reasonably expected from the agreement, within 48 hours of delivery free of charge. Sezani Designs may charge an additional fee for wear and tear.

Returns Procedure

As you agreed to inspect the product for defects or damage before accepting delivery, you are encouraged to submit photographic proof and you must provide full reasons for alleging that the product is defective, including stating how the product was utilised during the period that it was in your possession.
Should we be of the opinion that your product is returnable we will contact you to arrange collection or advise you if you may drop off the product at one of our distribution centres or stores (product and store dependent)
Once the return has reached our warehouse or store, the product will be inspected before the return is processed.
If you have proven that the statutory warranty has been breached, you may choose an exchange if possible.
If you have proven that any of the extended warranties have been breached, we may offer you a repair, exchange or store credit at our discretion.

Sezani Designs will evaluate the defect and honour warranties if:

The defect existed at the time of delivery or collection and manifested during the warranty period;
The defect did not arise due to normal wear and tear or misuse/abuse by the customer;
The customer duly complied with the care instructions and maintenance.

AMENDMENTS TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Sezani Designs may, in its sole discretion, change any of these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to regularly check these Terms and Conditions and make sure that you are satisfied with the changes. Should you not be satisfied, you must not place any further orders on, or in any other way use, the Site.
